Body Life is owner managed by David van Ryneveld who initially studied in Biokinetics and ran a Biokinetic practice for 2 years. 

The need for larger facilities was evident and Body Life clubs were established, keeping the emphasis on the Biokinetic approach where practical exercise relative to the individual is emphasised. 

Injuries or movement limitations are addressed appropriately. The main emphasis difference in our clubs is a hands-on approach where the member is not merely a number.

We serve the population of Polokwane in the attempt to address the health of our general population which is currently in desperate need of recuperation. Our two facilities are very strategically situated, one near the most high schools and the other near a large shopping mall.

The health needs of a community are vast and therefore we have had a look at the broad spectrum and provide for the need of each age category. We have created a facility exclusively for ladies, one especially for more adventurous, one especially for the serious sport participant and then also cater for the needs of the general population in weight reduction and improved health and general fitness.

At Body Life Health Clubs we attempt to present a fresh, user-friendly exercise experience to all our members. All our clubs are meticulously maintained and stocked with up to date training apparatus and facilities.

We present other activities and choices not available in your standard health club, including functional fitness training, Olympic weightlifting, strength training, core training, outdoor training and sport-specific training.

We believe that you cannot convince until you are convinced and all staff are therefore encouraged to lead by example. All staff understand the challenges involved with changing habits and initiating exercise routines and are therefore more than qualified to help you in your pursuit of improved health.
