The perfect posture
Down to the core

Although you may not think it, you’ll be amazed at how many muscles you use to do daily chores. Are you engaging the correct muscle groups when you move?

Your upper and lower body muscles are all pivotal in executing basic movements like twisting, lifting and turning. If these muscles are used correctly, you’re less likely to pick up an injury.

Your core muscles help rotate your torso when you twist. There are a few major muscles at play here, your rectus abdominis, your external and internal abdominal obliques and your transversus abdominus. A great exercise to activate these muscles is the bicycle crunch. If you want more of a challenge, add a resistance band.

Stronger core, stronger you

Make sure your major core muscles are engaged to make movement easier. We’re here to help assess your core strength and get you strengthened and conditioned. It’s never too late.
