No time to…
Go running!

We live in a fast-paced world and things aren’t slowing down. We have more to do and less time to do it.

The pandemic has shown us that working from home can cause us to never leave ‘work mode’. With our schedules becoming busier than ever, who has the time to go for a 30-minute run?

Interval training uses time-based exercises to maximise your output and minimise time spent on a workout. A simple example of interval training is a set of 3 movements done in 30-second intervals. Work for 30 seconds and then rest 30 seconds before moving on to the second movement and then the third. This will then be repeated for, as an example, 3-6 rounds.

Interval training is effective and time-efficient. It ensures a spike in heart rate when used with running and can be applied to many other forms of cardiovascular training.
