How you eat affects weight-loss

What you eat is obviously really important if you’re looking to lose weight, but HOW you eat also matters.

Smaller portions
When you’re really hungry it’s tempting
to dish yourself a lot of food. Instead, dial it down
and dish a smaller portion up front,
you can always dish seconds if you’re still hungry.

Not a speed eating contest
It can take a few minutes for the brain
to register how full the stomach is.
If you eat too fast, you could end up
overeating before even realising you’re full.
Eating slower can help you eat
just the right amount.

Cook your own meals
This allows you to know exactly what’s going into your meals, so you have
more control over things like salt and oil content. It also helps you steer clear of processed foods and harmful additives.
