The perfect posture
It’s all connected

Making sure your muscles are all engaged and conditioned could be the difference between living a full life or being stuck with an injury.

Beyond your core and glute muscles, one we cannot forget is your pectroalis major muscle. This muscle, otherwise known as your chest or pec muscles, stretches across your upper chest and is connected to a ridge at your humerus (upper arm bone). Its main movements are arm adduction and rotation.

The chest muscle therefore helps your shoulder flex and your arm extend – essential for using your arms. A great exercise for a stronger chest muscle is the push-up. Not only will it strengthen your chest muscle, but it’ll also strengthen your shoulders, arms and core at the same time.
