Plant sources of complete protein

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, which is needed to build and repair tissue and cells in the body.
Complete proteins are foods that contain all nine essential amino acids and while all meats are good sources of complete protein,
there are many easy to find plant foods that are as well.

produced in the body.
Essential amino acids aren’t produced
in the body and are thus obtained
through food.
