When you carry too much weight around your abdomen, your centre of gravity is pushed forward, putting strain on your back muscles. Keep your weight down and your abdomen tight with the right exercises for you. We’ll assess your abilities and provide guidance for you to get fit and strong again.

A great core exercise for keeping your abdomen tight and strong is the side lateral medicine ball slam. This will also help take strain off the muscles that support your back – by making them stronger, reducing pain and injury. Remember if you aren’t doing the exercise correctly, you could be adding to your back problems. We’ll make sure you’re doing it right.
