Count on your core
The core of your strength

When your core muscles are weak it negatively affects your general movement. Strong core muscles enable you to live a fuller life! Even if you’re working out, you still might have a weak core.

5 signs of a weak core:

1. Ability to squat heavy, but unable to do an overhead squat.
2. Lower back pain after physical exercise.
3. Poor posture and bad balance
4. Inability to stand for long periods of time.
5. Shortness of breath and general weakness of the body.
Having a core-training programme as part of your routine will keep your body healthy and functional.

Try planking for as long as you possibly can. The amount of time you can stay in a planking position with proper form is a great indicator of your core strength.
